Join us for the Atlanta St Patrick’s Day Parade!
DREAM Dachshund Rescue has been invited to the 2025 Atlanta St Patrick’s Day Parade!
DREAM’s tagline for the parade is:
"Here for the Shenanigans" and being dachshunds, we are sure they will live up to those words! Dachshunds and their friends get to parade down the middle of Peachtree Street all the way to Colony Square. It's gonna be a sham-rocking good time!!! This is Atlanta's longest running event and we couldn't be happier to have been invited to party. Join us, bring your dachshunds and honorary dachshunds too...we all our supporters and want to have you attend with us. When else will you get the chance to walk your wiener dog down the middle of Peachtree St?!?

Order by March 5th to ensure delivery in time for the parade! But hey, you can wear the green and support the weens all year long! Proceeds go toward veterinary costs for DREAM foster dogs.
Besides wearing our t-shirts, feel free to dress up your dogs, paint your faces, drape your boas, and wear your hats.
Parade wagons, jogging strollers and other wheeled vehicles are welcome! Have your dachshund ride in style and design their doggy stroller into a float! The more spirited you are, the more fun we will have. And the most spirited will be awarded a special prize by DREAM at the end!
This is a family-friendly event. Bring your kids, your dogs, etc. Pets MUST be leashed.

Day of Meet-up Details
Parade step off is at exactly noon. This is step off time, but plan to meet up with other DREAM paraders around 9:45 AM to gather our group and enjoy some pre-parade dachshund time. We are meeting at the Promenade Parking deck 1230 W Peachtree Street NE 30309.
DREAM will be waiting for you at the 15th St entrance to this deck. This is at the intersection of 15th St and Arts Center Way. No dachshund time for this event. Have those weens check their clocks!
Groups are given staggered arrival times to cut down on congestion in the marshaling area. DREAM is set to meet at 10:30 at the staging area.
This is a pay deck and you are responsible for paying for your own parking.
Promenade Parking Deck 15th St
We are gathering as a group at this parking deck, so we can all walk together to the staging area check in. This is what has been asked of us by the parade route managers. So...YAY...we've figured out parking and a place to gather as a group, so we can walk to the parade check-in all together. (Parade logistics are hard, especially when dealing with dachshund time. You absolutely MUST be on time.) Around 10:20, we will walk to the staging area as a group. This year our talented volunteer Jessica has put together some fun activities to do at the garage and at staging area to get the paw-ty started!
Parade step off is promptly at noon. Plan on plenty of time to park and find your way to the parking promenade or if you are late, our place in the staging area. If you have not joined our group at the staging area prior to noon, enjoy the parade along the route and wave to us as we pass by!
After Parade Meet Up
After the parade we will be meeting at La Santa Tacos and Bar, 905 Juniper Street for post parade celebration. There is patio seating so dogs are welcome.
Other Parking Options
If this deck gets full, there is another parking deck for the Woodruff Arts Center just off 15th St & Arts Center Way, and it's super easy to see one deck from the other. You won't miss us gathering at the corner of 15th St & Arts Center Way. Please note some streets will be closed for the parade so arrive early for best access.
Some other parking suggestions we've been provided are the One Midtown Plaza off of Arts Center Way, the Colony Square parking deck on 14th, the Campanile parking deck on Juniper, the Proscenium parking deck on Crescent, and the Promenade II parking deck on 15th will be open. Rates will apply.
